ஏழாம் அறிவு - ஒரு திரைக்காவியம்

இரமணா, கஜினி போன்ற படங்களை இயக்கிய, ஏஆர். முருகதாஸ் இயக்குகிறார் என்ற காரணத்திற்காக எழாம் அறிவு என்ற திரைப்படத்தைப் பார்க்க சென்றேன், ஆனால், நான் கண்டது தமிழ் திரைக்காவியம் ஒன்றை. தமிழன் தனது சரித்திரத்தை உணரும் பட்சத்தில் மட்டும்தான் தலைநிமிர்வான் என்பது எனது வாதம். தமிழ்ப்பள்ளிகளில் பாடத்திட்டங்களில், தமிழ் சரித்திரத்தையும் கற்பிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது எனது கருத்தும் கூட. எனது முந்தைய பதிவுகளிலும் நான் இதனை கூறியிருக்கிறேன். ஆனால், அது போன்ற தமிழ் சரித்திரத்தை, திரைப்படத்தில் காட்டும் பொழுதுதான் அது பெரும்பாலான மக்களை சென்றடைகிறது என்பது, ஏழாம் அறிவு படத்தின் மூலம் தெளிவாகிறது.

போதி தர்மன் என்ற பல்லவ இளவரசன் (தமிழன்) சீன தேசத்திற்கு பயணம் செய்வதாக தொடங்குகிறது படம். அதற்கு பிறகு வரும் காட்சிகள், ஒரு திரைப்படம் என்பதை விட, ஒரு செய்தி படமாகத்தான் (Documentary) தெரிகிறது. போதி தர்மன் சீனாவிற்கு சென்று, அங்கே தமிழர்களின் மருத்துவம், தற்காப்பு கலை, மற்றும் நோக்கு வர்மம் போன்ற அரும்பெரும் கலைகளை பரப்புகின்றார். சீனாவை தாக்கும் கொடிய நோயை தீர்க்க, போதி வர்மன் தன்னுடைய மருத்துவ திறனைக் கொண்டு கட்டுப்படுத்துகிறார். அதற்கு பிறகு, இன்று உலகமே வியந்து பார்க்கும் ஷாவோலின் குங்ஃபுவையும் அங்கே பரப்புகிறார். இறுதியில் தனது தாய் மண்ணுக்கு திரும்ப விரும்பும் போதி வர்மனை, அங்குள்ள சீனர்கள், விஷம் கொடுத்து கொன்று, அங்கேயே புதைக்கிறார்கள். அதுதான் சரித்திர பின்னணி. அதற்கு பிறகு, போதி வர்மனை தெரியுமா என்று பலரிடம் கேள்வியெழுப்புகிறார்கள். அக்கேள்வி கேட்கப்பட்ட அனைத்து தமிழர்களும், யாரென்று தெரியவில்லை என்று சொல்ல, கேள்வி கேட்கப்பட்ட அனைத்து சீனர்களும், போதி தர்மர், தென்னிந்தியாவைச் சேர்ந்தவர்; அவர்தான் ஷாவோலின் குங்ஃபுவை உருவாக்கியவர் என்று கூறுகின்றனர். இந்த முதல் பகுதியிலேயே, நச்சென்று தமிழர்களை தலையில் குட்டுகிறார் இயக்குனர்.

போதி தர்மன்

அதற்கு பிறகு, திரைக்கதை ஆரம்பிக்கின்றது. திரைக்கதையை அலசி ஆரய்வதற்கு இல்லை இந்த விமர்சனம். ஆனால், படத்தில் சொல்லப்பட்டிருக்கும் கருத்துகளை ஆழமாக ஆராய்வதற்கு. ஏழாம் அறிவு திரைப்படத்தின் மிகப்பெரும் பலம், படத்தின் வசனங்கள். படத்தில் வரும் வசனங்கள், ஒரு தமிழனுக்குள் தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருக்கும், தமிழின உணர்வை தட்டியெழுப்புகிறது. போதி வர்மன் என்ற தமிழ்னை பல தமிழர்களுக்கு தெரியாது என்று குத்தலாக கூறும் தொடக்க கட்டமே, பல தமிழர்களின் தமிழின உணர்வுக்கு சவால் விட்டதாக அமைகிறது. உலகத்தில் முதல் நாகரீகம் தமிழனுடையதுதான்; உலகிற்கே வீரத்தையும், நாகரீகத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தவன் தமிழன் தான்; ஆனால் இன்று அந்த வீரத்தையும், நாகரீகத்தையும் அருங்காட்சியகத்தில் வைத்து விட்டவனும் தமிழன்தான் என்று கதாநாயகி ஸ்ருதி ஹாசன் விளக்குவது மிகச்சிறப்பு. ஸ்ருதிஹாசன் நடிப்பில் மட்டுமல்ல, வசனத்தை கூறும் பொழுதும் நமது நெஞ்சோடு நின்று விடுகிறார். எடுத்துக்காட்டுக்கு, "போதி வர்மன் போன்றவர்களை, கடவுளாக காணாமல், அறிவியலாளராக பாருங்கள்!" என்கிறார். முன்பு யாரோ ஒருவர் கூறினார், "முருகன் ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய, அறிவாய்ந்த அறிவியலாளர்" என்று; ஸ்ருதி சொன்னதை கேட்கையில் அந்த நினைவு வந்தது.

திரைப்படத்தில் வரும் பல வசனங்கள் தமிழ் உணர்வை தட்டியெழுப்புகின்றன. தமிழை குரங்குடன் ஒப்பிடும் ஒருவரை தாறுமாறாக திட்டி தீர்த்து, "800 வருஷத்துக்கு முன் வந்த, இங்கிலிஷ் இனிக்குது, 20000 வருஷத்துக்கு வந்த தமிழ் கசக்குதா?" என்று ஸ்ருதி கூறும் கட்டம், எனது உடல் சிலிர்த்த அனுபவம். குறிப்பாக ஈழத்தில் நடந்த இனப்படுகொலையை கண்டித்துள்ளார் இயக்குனர். "ஈழத்தில் நடந்தது துரோகம், ஒரு தமிழனை அழிக்க 9 நாடுகள் இணைந்து செய்த சதி" என்று இலங்கையில் தமிழர்களுக்கு எதிராக நடத்தப்பட்ட இன அழிப்பை சுட்டிக்காட்டி. என்று சூர்யா கூறும் கட்டத்தில், ஒரு பச்சைத்தமிழனின் உணர்வு வெளிப்படுகிறது. இலங்கையில் தமிழனை அடித்தார்கள் என்று சூர்யா கூறும் வசனத்தை மலேசிய தணிக்கை வாரியம் தணிக்கை செய்ததற்கான காரணம் தெரியவில்லை, இருப்பினும் சப்டைட்டிலில் அந்த வசனத்தைக் காண முடிந்தது. இறுதி கட்டத்தில், தமிழர்கள் தமது சரித்திரத்தை அறிந்து வைத்திருக்க வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்தை சூர்யாவின் மூலம் இயக்குனர் சொல்ல வைத்திருப்பது சிறப்பு. "மஞ்சளை, சாமி என்று கூறாதீர்கள், அது கிருமிநாசினி என்பதைக் கூறி உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை வளருங்கள்," "வேப்பிலை மரம் நடுங்கள், அது தெய்வத்திற்காக அல்ல, உங்கள் சுகாதாரத்திற்காக" என்று கூறும் கட்டத்தில், பெரியாரிசம் வெளிப்படுகிறது.போகி பண்டிகை என்ற பெயரில், விலைமதிப்பில்லா ஓலைச்சுவடிகளை எரிக்க செய்தது நமது இனத்தை அழிக்க செய்யப்பட்ட துரோகம்; அது வடநாட்டவர்களின் சதி என்பதை ஒரே வரியில், தமிழர்களுக்கும் போகிக்கும் சம்பந்தமில்லை என்று இயக்குனர் கூறியது சிறப்பு. அதேப்போல விலைமதிப்பில்லா தமிழர் சரித்திரத்தை யாழ்ப்பாண நூலகத்தை எரித்ததின் வழி சிங்கள பேரினவாதிகள் அழித்த வரலாற்றையும், ஒரு திரைப்படத்தில் முதன்முதலாக மிக தெளிவாக கூறியதும் இந்த ஏழாம் அறிவு திரைப்படத்தில்தான்.

இத்திரைப்படத்திற்கு சூர்யா, ஸ்ருதியைத் தவிர வேறு யாரும் நாயகன், நாயகியாக பொருந்தியிருக்க மாட்டார்கள். அந்த இருவரின் தந்தையர்களிடமும் இருக்கும் தமிழ்ப்பற்று, இந்த இரு கலைஞர்களின் மூலம் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. வேறு யாரேனும் இருந்திருந்தாலும், இவ்வளவு ஆத்மார்த்தமாக நடித்திருக்க முடியுமா என்பதும் சந்தேகம்தான். ஒரு வேட்கைக் கொண்ட இளம் தமிழினத்தை இந்த இருவரின் வழி காணமுடிகின்றது.

ஒவ்வொரு தமிழனும் கண்டிப்பாக இத்திரைப்படத்தைக் கண்டு, உண்மை தமிழர் சரித்திரத்தை ஒவ்வொருவரும் உணர வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் எனது ஆவல். பெரியாரால் திருத்த முடியாத இத்தமிழினத்தை, இதுப்போன்ற சரித்திர பின்னணிகள் கொண்ட நல்திரைப்படங்களின் மூலம் கொஞ்சமேனும் மாற்றலாம். ஒன்று நிச்சயம், இத்திரைப்படத்தை காணும் மலேசிய தமிழர்களில் குறைந்தது 80 விழுக்காட்டினர் தங்கள் பிள்ளைகளை தமிழ்ப்பள்ளிக்குத்தான் அனுப்புவார்கள். தமிழர்களின் தூங்கிக்கிடந்த இனவுணர்வை தட்டியெழுப்பிய இயக்குனருக்கு பாராட்டுகள்.

7-Aam Arivu - A Movie That Every Tamil Should Watch

My Review

I wanted to watch this movie, because the Director had given two good movies, named Ramana and Ghajini previously. What I expected was a common Tamil movie with Entertainment elements, but I came out of the screen with full satisfaction of watched an Infotainment Tamil Movie. I had a view that, only by studying the History, Tamils can excel. I had stated these in some of my earlier blog posts. However, instead of reading the History books, it is always better to know the History through the Movies like this. And the historical points really reaches the masses through the Tamil Movie. That's how the US infiltrate the minds of the people, as though, they are the saviors of human kind, through the Hollywood movies! And I am glad that, good message for Tamils will reach through this 7 Aam Arivu movie.

A Movie starts with the journey of Pallava Prince, Bodhi Tharman, A Tamil, to Nanyang, China from his homeland of Kanchipuram of Tamil Nadu. The first part of the movie can be considered as documentary rather than a entertainment movie. Bodhi Tharman spread the Tamils arts of medicine and martial arts in China. Bodhi Tharman healed the deathly decease that spread the land of China in the 6th Century through his medical knowledge. Later, the Martial Arts that taught by Bodhi Tharman becomes Shao Lin Kung Fu. It is apparent that, Shaolin Kung Fu, is originated form Tamil Nadu. Bodhi Tharman also introduced the art of Hypnotism in China. The Art of Hypnotism known as "Nokku Varmam" in Tamil. Years later, when Bodhi Tharman wants to return to his homeland, the Chinese villagers poisoned him and buried him there, so that their land will be blessed forever. That's the end of the background of Bodhi Tharman. Movie continues with question being asked to many, if they know who is Bodhi Tharman. Not surprisingly, none of the Tamil has any idea of who is Bodhi Tharman. Surprisingly, all the Chinese people interviewed, addressed Bodhi Tharman, as Great Kung Fu Master from South India. That is the first slap for the Tamils from the Director.

Then the movie continues. I don't want to discuss much on the contents of the movie and would like to discuss more about the message forwarded through the movie. The dialogues in the movie particularly, really tickles the Tamil nationalistic feeling within a Tamil. When the Heroine, Shruthi Hasaan mentions, "The first civilization in the world belongs to the Tamils. Tamils are the one who taught the meaning of Civilization and Bravery to the world. But, now the Tamils let all their glories to sleep in Museums!" is point to ponder for Tamils at large. Shruthi really left a mark in our hearts with the bold dialogues. At one point she also reminds "to view people like Bodhi Tharman as Great Scientist, instead of praying them as Gods!" . This reminded me of someone's quote, where the Lord Murugan known as a Great Scientist.

The Dialogues in the movie really plays a vital role. At one point, when a Foreign Educated Scientist chiding Tamil Language, by comparing it to a monkey, the Heroine explodes and asks, "You are glorifying a Language (English) came just 800 years ago, but chiding a Language that exist over 20,000 years?". At another point the hero of the movie, pointing out the "Tamils in Sri Lanka was defeated by the 9 evil nations through the betrayals. and nothing else!" The dialogues referring to the Genocides being committed on Tamils by Sri Lankan Govt really makes one to thrill. I don't understand the need for Malaysian Censor Board's to censor the Surya's dialogue where he said, "Tamils beaten and killed in Sri Lanka!" Glad that the dialogue still can be read from the subtitles. I am puzzled on why Malaysian Govt is defending the war criminal Sri Lanka. At the climax, Surya's bold dialogue on why Tamils should know their history is really inspiring. The dialogue, "Teach your children about the power of the Neem and Turmerics for health, instead of telling them, it is religious related!" is purely expression of Periyarism. The movie went on to clarify that, the celebration of Boghi, before a day of Ponggal introduced to destroy the priceless ancient information of Tamils written on Palm Leafs. And this is the first time a Tamil movie speaks about, on why Jaffna Library razed down on fire. Because the Sri Lankan Singhalese Regime wanted to destroy the priceless information of Tamils in there.

I am not surprised that main characters of the movie played by Surya and Shruthi Hasaan, as fathers of the both are known to be Tamil patriots. I can't see any other actors that can play the roles as effective as both of them.

I feel that, every Tamil should watch the movie, to know the real history of their race. Periyaar might failed in bringing the reformation to this race, yet movies of this kind shed the light on the hope that the race still can be reformed to the least. I am convinced of one thing, Malaysian Tamil parents who watch this movie certainly will send their kids to Tamil schools. And I would like to thank the Director AR Murugadoss for his hardworks that tickled the Tamil Nationalistic feeling within an every Tamil.

Penang MIC Youth a bunch of clowns!

The Penang MIC Youth has once again made itself look like a bunch of clowns, with the latest insensible attacks on the Penang state government, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Deputy Chief Minister P Ramasamy.

The FMT article, which quoted Dhinagaran is clear evidence that MIC is living in a denial syndrome and will stoop to a very low level for its political benefit. Dhinagaran’s accusation that the Penang PR government is a ‘profit oriented government’ is absolute nonsense.

What is Dhinagaran’s basis to say the “Penang government and Lim Guan Eng favour outsiders, rather than locals” in reference to the recently concluded Penang International Indian Shopping Festival?

Is Dhinagaran saying that all those who attended the shopping festival were outsiders? Is he trying to say Penang Indians never benefitted at all from the shopping fair? Is this guy aware that even Consumer Associations supported the fair.

Is Dhinagaran saying the seven-day fair had affected the 365 days a year operating businesses? Isn’t it ridiculous to make a such claim? It is totally unacceptable to say that “monopolisation” should remain.

These kind of shopping fairs are opportunities for consumers to get various type of products at the cheapest possible prices. I don’t understand why there’s need for Dhinagaran to oppose this? Is MIC Youth opposing the fact that “shopping fairs are pro consumers”?

Dhinagaran’s call for the “Penang government to create more business for local Indians” is welcome, but before that we want to know how many Indians were helped in the past when MIC was in the Penang state government?

Or it was crony business, where only one or two benefited? MIC is part of Federal government. I want to ask how many Penang Indians, especially youths have been helped by Federal government or MIC to establish business or excel in business? Or was it just crumbs thrown at the community?

The Penang government, with limited financial resources, has been helping Small and Medium Entrepreneurs regardless of race through the “titian rakyat” programme. Many Indians are able to compete in the open tender system and get contracts from the government directly. These are the changes that people were looking for, which MIC leaders can’t understand.

This is not the first time that Dhinagaran or MIC Youth have been pulling “funny” stunts to get cheap publicity. Two months ago, this guy had lodged report against Bersih’s steering committee chairperson Ambiga Sreenivasan and had branded her a “mandore”.

He was trying to please his Umno masters and to get cheap publicity. Several days ago, I came across a news report in a Tamil daily that MIC Youth had lodged a report against Mat Sabu for “twisting” history. In both cases, the majority of Indians were not in favour of the move. In the case of Bersih, many Indians supported the cause.

Many Indian youths came out on to the streets to support Bersih’s demand. And in the case of Malaysian history, Indians are aware that it has been “altered” here and there so many times to favour the majority.

It is fact that many Indian freedom fighters names were purposely left out in our history texts. A trade unionist, S A Ganapathy, who fought British occupancy under the Indian National Army of Subash Chandrabose in Malaya, and later subjected to the death penalty by the British, is nowhere to be found in Malaysian history textbooks.

And it is not impossible for Tun Sambanthan’s name to vanish from our textbooks. But all this never bothered MIC Youth. Their only motive is to please their Umno masters. I’m very sure that this Dhinagaran has a political motive in raising this issue. He is trying to show himself as an Indian hero in Penang.

But, we shouldn’t forget that this was the same guy responsible for all the havoc in Kampung Buah Pala, where the nine of the KBP families refused to accept the RM600,000 worth double-storey house compensation package that was brokered by Penang state government.

He and his party colleagues had misled the nine families into believing that they will get RM3.2 million from MIC by doing so. Even the then MIC president S Samy Vellu had supported the claim that they will give out that 3.2 million ringgit.

MIC abandoned them and refused to take responsibility for the nine families. This Dhinagaran is not only fit to be a leader let alone a politician.

Claims that that Penang PR is running a “profit oriented” government is a baseless and the MIC out to confuse the people. It still thinks people are living in the 80s where they will believe whatever is being dished out to them.

People are able to do their own analysis and are loathe to believe mainstream media propaganda these days. With this latest round of insensible attacks against the Penang PR government, Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Prof Ramasamy, MIC Youth has made itself look like a bunch of clowns and nothing else.

You cant fool us forever Muhyiddin! MIC might buy your lies; Not all Malaysian Indians will!

Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who is also Education Minister in the Malaysian Cabinet, recently told in an event that, BN led Govt had built 600 Tamil Schools so far (Source : Bernama). But according to the statistics, in past 53 years, numbers of Tamil schools decreased from 888 to 523. Which means, averagely 7 Tamil schools closed per year in past 50 years due to various reasons. One of the often reason said to be contribute to such situation is "lack of students" in these schools, and due to that reason, the schools must be closed.

These 888 Tamil Schools (including the remaining 523) does exist since British colonials time. So, practically after the Independence, the Govt or BN led Govt to say accurately, had never issued any license for new Tamil school to be built. I don't understand, how DPM Muhyiddin Yassin said BN has built 600 Tamil schools in past 50 years, when the fact is BN Govt had closed 365 Tamil Schools in past 5o years. Even if Muhyiddin statement was to say, "the govt had repaired or upgraded these schools", it is still not accurate as there is no 600 Tamil Schools, and not all the remaining Tamil schools are in good condition for students to study. To be specific, some schools are operating from container cabins, shop lot, stables and so on. After many years, one school that operating from such cabin is to be rebuilt by Ministry of Education on the land that State Govt allocated is Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil Ladang Batu Kawan.

The first Tamil School in Malaya or Malaysia operated from Penang Free School, in 1816

History of Tamil Schools in Malaysia started in colonial period, where British brought laborers, mainly Tamils from South India to work in the Rubber Estates of Malaya. Almost every Estate that Indians was staying then, there used to be Tamil Schools. The first Tamil School in Malaysia (or Malaya) started to operate in Penang Free School in 1816. Total numbers of Tamil Schools prior to Independence of Malaya estimated at 1000 over. In 1957, the year that Malaya liberated from British Colonialist, there were 888 Tamil Schools in Malaya. Over the years, though student’s enrollment into Tamil Schools increased, numbers of Tamil Schools decreased. One by one Tamil schools closed citing the reason of not met with minimum required students in a School. Such situations caused by the migration of Indians from Rural Estates into Urban Townships and Semi urban townships. In this case the Govt never took an initiative to relocate these Tamil schools in the areas where Indian population is more. But, the Govt took that chance to wipe out Tamil Schools one after one.

For MIC, It was vital to build an University (with community's money) rather than looking after "poor" Tamil Schools!

If Govt had relocated these Tamil Schools with small number of students to Indian populated area, the number of Tamil Schools should have remained the same by now. But, BN led Govt decided to close one by one of this Tamil Schools. In the name of promoting "National Schools", Govt had sidelined the vernacular education, though the demand was there. This is how, UMNO led BN Govt had contributed to the most Tamil Schools closure. If BN was really serious in helping Tamil Schools and keep the vernacular education system, they wouldn't have contributed to the closures of the schools. In estates, when Tamil schools are being closed because of insufficient students, the School licenses lapse. MIC in past years had never serious in securing these school licenses by requesting to relocate the licenses to build Tamil Schools in Indian populated area. MIC in past years was busy raising funds for their 'so called' education establishments (MIED, AIMST), but never cared about the Tamil Schools. Should they had any care towards Tamil Schools, they wouldn't had let the Licenses to lapse. In fact MIC welcomed when Ministry of Education cancelling one by one the licenses, by merging two Tamil schools with small number of students to become one school. This "merging" process reduced number of Tamil schools drastically. MIC should have requested for these licenses to be transferred to Indian populated area.

SJK (C) Ladang Harcroft, Puchong, Selangor

MIC Leaders might say, this is an impossible task, but it is not impossible at all! If that can be done with Chinese Schools, why can't with Tamil Schools? For example, Ladang Harcroft Chinese Primary School in Puchong. A School with modern facilities; a great place for students to study! Ladang Harcroft is originally located in Perak . But this Ladang Harcroft Chinese Primary school is in Center of Puchong, in the state of Selangor. I assume the school addressed the same "insufficient students" problem and forced to close down, but the license was kept alive by transferring it to a place where there is demand for Chinese School, and a Property Development Company built the school building for worth of RM5 Million in a place where majority of Chinese stays. Whatever we say about MCA, but as a BN coalition partner, they managed to convince the big brother UMNO to transfer the school licenses and the community build the schools by themselves. While MIC was busy raising funds from the already poor Indian community, to build International Institutes to enrich the few in MIC! MIC failed to address the basic primary education problem but built an University. This could be the joke but nothing.

Brief Comparison

Not all the remaining Tamil Schools in Malaysia are in good condition and not all Tamil Schools are fully Govt aided Tamil Schools. Though mother tongue education is a basic right of a Citizen and any Govt has the responsibility to fund the education, in Malaysia, in name of "excelling" the National Schools, Govt is suppressing the vernacular Education, especially Tamil and Chinese Schools. As a self sufficient community, Chinese Community able to keep up the pace with Fully Govt aided National School in terms of education and sports excellence. While already poor Indian community solely relying on Govt to build their Tamil Schools, while their "so called" reps in Govt has to beg to the UMNO's Education Minister to rebuild the Schools in worse condition. Many Tamil School identified as in pathetic and unfit to occupy conditions. There was one Tamil School in Penang, which operated in the basement of a fun club. And there is Tamil School operating from a shoplot, container cabin, stables and so on. No parent will let the children to study in such circumstances unless there is no other choice left for them. We might blame the parents for not sending their children to Tamil Schools but to a Sekolah Kebangsaan. But with Tamil Schools' pathetic condition, we really shouldn't blame them. MIC has to beg everytime to their UMNO masters to build a new building for these schools and they hardly succeed in it.

Ladang Batu Kawan Tamil School is being operated in Container Cabins for past 9 years, since the school building razed down in fire. DPM Muhyiddin told, the school has to wait for another 2 years for new building

Latest scenario in regards to Tamil School is a drama staged by DPM Muhyiddin Yassin in Batu Kawan, on 17th September 2011, where he said Federal Govt had allocated RM 6.3 Million to build the new Building of SJK (T) Ladang Batu Kawan, which is currently operating from Former Estate Clerks Quarters. Few days earlier, MIC Minister Datuk Subramaniam held a Press Conference in the School and said, Ministry of Education allocated 1.7 Million Ringgit to build the School Building with 6 Classrooms, Office, Teachers Room, Computer Room and Science Lab. Meanwhile, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced 6.3 Million Ringgit allocation and it is 8 classrooms and the other same facilities. To build just 2 more extra classrooms will cost 4.6 Million Ringgit more? or every of the classrooms will look like a Five Star Hotel Suite? Who is Muhyiddin trying to fool here? Furthermore, Penang State Govt had allocated 2 acre land to the school. Since, Batu Kawan is a developing area, with projects such as second link and so on, certainly more Indian families will move in to Batu Kawan. Currently only few of the parents sending their children to this school. But, if new building with perfect infrastructures built, there is hope for other Indians to send their children to this school too. And DPM Muhyiddin reported to said, the School will be built in another two years. Why is it another 2 years? Or this is another empty election promise of BN? Ladang Batu Kawan Tamil School burnt down 9 years ago. Since then the students are studying in this makeshift classrooms. If this was a Sekolah Kebangsaan even in a rural Kampung, would Govt had waited this long? Just because it is a Tamil School, the pupils are waiting. They waited for 10 years and now for another 2 years?

So why the UMNO Govt is throwing crumbs when it comes to Tamil Schools? And why MIC never had the guts to fight back and must knee down and thank UMNO many times for the crumbs that they throw?

Answer is simple :

Muhyiddin, like other UMNO Leaders, thinks Indians are FOOLS forever! It is because the MIC, "so called" Indians Rep in Govt remaining fool, even after 50 years!

சரித்திரம் வெற்றிப்பெற்றவர்களால் எழுதப்படுகிறது என்பது ஒரு பொதுவான கருத்துள்ளது. அது உண்மையும் கூட, இல்லையென்றால் மகாபாரதத்தில் கௌரவர்கள் தீயவர்களாகவும், இராமயணத்தில் இராவணன் தீயவனாகவும் சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்காது. மலேசியாவின் சரித்திரம் சற்று மாறுப்பட்டது. இங்கு வெற்றிப்பெற்றோர் யாரும் கிடையாது, அதனால்தான், மலேசியாவின் சுதந்திரப்பற்றிய விவாதங்கள் மலேசிய அரசியலில் புதியதொரு புயலைக் கிளப்பியிருக்கிறது. சுதந்திரத்திற்கு போராடியவர்கள் யார்? உண்மையான சுதந்திர போராட்ட வீரர்கள் யாரென்ற விவாதம் கிளம்பியிருக்கிறது. காலங்காலமாக நமக்கு கூறப்பட்டு வந்த சரித்திரத்தை இப்பொழுதுதான் கேள்வியெழுப்ப நமது அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு துணிச்சல் வந்துள்ளது. முன்பெல்லாம், இந்த சரித்திர தகவல்களைப் பற்றி நாம் கேள்வியெழுப்புகையில், என்னவோ ஒரு இனத்தின் மாண்பைக் குறித்து கேள்வியெழுப்பி விட்டதைப்போல பலவித மிரட்டல்கள் மேலோங்கும் (உண்மையில் இந்த மிரட்டல்களின் வழிதான் நாம் நமது உரிமைகளை இழந்துள்ளோம்). இதனாலேயே நம் மீது திணிக்கப்பட்ட "ஒழுங்குப்படுத்தப்பட்ட" சரித்திர பாடத்திட்டத்தை நாம் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வந்துள்ளோம்.

மலேசிய சரித்திரத்தை திருத்தி முறையே எழுத அமைந்த ஒரு தருணமாக இதனை சிலர் உற்றுநோக்குகின்றனர். இருப்பினும் அது அவ்வளவு சுலபமான காரியம் அல்ல. எதிர்ப்புகள் நிச்சயம் கிளம்பும். ஆனால், மலேசியர்களிடையே தோன்றியுள்ள அரசியல் முதிர்ச்சியில், அதனை நாம் நடவாத காரியம் என்று மறுத்துவிடவும் முடியாது. இவ்வேளையில், மலேசியாவில் நமது தமிழர்களின் சரித்திரம், பால்மரங்களோடு தொடங்கியது என்றே கூறப்பட்டு வந்தது. அதனை நாமும் நம்பி வருகின்றோம். ஆனால், இந்த மலையகத்தில் தமிழ் மன்னர்கள் ஆட்சி புரிந்ததற்கான ஆதாரச்ச்சான்றுகள் பல உள்ளன. சோழ மன்னனின் கடற்பயணம், பூஜாங் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் வந்து நின்றது, அங்கு தமிழர்கள் வந்திறங்கினர் என்பதுதான் நம்மில் பலர் அறிந்த சரித்திர தகவல். நமக்கு பின்னால் எத்தனைப் பேருக்கு அதுக்கூட தெரியப்போகிறது என்று நமக்கு தெரியாது. ஆனால், அதற்கும் முன்பாக தமிழர்கள் இந்த மலையகத்தில் இருந்துள்ளனர். அதற்கு சான்றாக, பினாங்கில் உள்ள சேரோ தோக்குன் எனப்படும் இடத்தில் காணப்படும் கல்வெட்டையும் அதில் காணப்படும் பிராமி எழுத்துகளையும் சான்றாக கூறுகின்றார் முனைவர் ஜெயபாரதி.

அந்தளவுக்கு சரித்திரத்தை நாம் மீட்டுக் கொண்டுவர முடியவில்லை என்றாலும், குறைந்தது மலாயாவின் சுதந்திரத்திற்கு போராடிய நம்மவர்களது சரித்திரத்தையாவது மீட்டுக் கொண்டுவர வேண்டும். பிரிட்டிசார் தென்னிந்தியர்களை, குறிப்பாக தமிழர்களை இந்நாட்டிற்கு சஞ்சிக்கூலிகளாக அழைத்து வந்தனர் என்பது உண்மைதான். ஆனால், அதற்கு பிறகு இந்நாட்டில் நமது சரித்திரம் என்னவென்று நம்மால் கூற முடியுமா? அதற்கு பிறகு மலேசிய தமிழர்களின் சரித்திரம் என்று இதுவரை கூற்ப்படுவது, மஇகா என்ற அமைப்பைப் பற்றியும், சுதந்திர பிரகடனத்தைப் பெறுவதில் மஇகாவின் தலைவர்கள் ஆற்றிய பங்கைப் பற்றியும்தான். சுதந்திர போராட்டம் என்று இங்கு கூறப்படுவது மலாயன் யூனியனுக்கெதிராக மலாய்க்காரர்கள் நடத்திய போராட்டம், அதற்கு பிறகு தோன்றிய அம்னோ என்ற அமைப்பு. அதன் மூலமே சுதந்திரம் பெறப்பட்டது என்ற மாயத்தோற்றம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது.

ஜப்பானியர்கள் இந்த நாட்டை ஆளுகையில், பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான தமிழர்கள்தான் சயாம் மரண இரயில் அமைக்கும் பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட்டனர். தமிழர்கள்தான் பெரும்பாலான கொடுமைக்குள்ளானர்கள். ஆனால், நமக்கு கூறப்படும் சரித்திரத்திலோ, இந்தியர்கள் ஒரு சிறு பிரிவினரே என்ற வகையில் கூறப்படுகின்றது. ஜப்பானியர்கள் இங்கு வருவதற்கு முன்பு நடத்த போராட்டங்கள், மறியல்கள், வேலைநிறுத்த போராட்டங்கள் போன்றவற்றை நாம் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ சரித்திர புத்தகத்தில் எங்கேயும் காணமுடியவில்லை.

BN Indian Leaders are threatened by Ambiga's growing Influence! Recently, Top BN Leaders including MIC President Dato G Palanivel and the Deputy Ministers of MIC claimed Indians does not support Bersih and they rejected Dato Ambiga Sreenivasan's call for electoral reforms. So called Multiracial party PPP's Presdent Dato Seri Kavyeas had attacked Dato Ambiga personally, and specifically called upon Indians in the country to boycott Ambiga's call and the Bersih rally. There were few Pro-BN groups which called for revocation of Ambiga's citizenship.

Despite the continous attacks on Ambiga and Bersih on Mainstream Medias, Saturday's Bersih rally was a success. Claims of BN Indian leaders that, Indians rejected Bersih was a clearly contradicting, since many Indians were there on the streets of KL on Saturday. They all gathered there as one race, Malaysian race! MIC and its partners might thinking Indians are still in their favour, and all that they have to do to get their votes is to give them some mutton curry and few hampers. Those who participated in the Saturday rally was relatively Young and Educated group. Clearly they want reform in this nation called Malaysia. Indians support for Bersih means, end of business for these few people who lives on the Indians ignorance for all this while.

The crowd that gathered in Kuala Lumpur does not identify them as Malays, Chinese or Indians but they identified themselves as Malaysians. This is political reality which BN find difficult to accept. People, especially the young ones has rejected BN's racial policy for once and for all. This might echoed in next general elections too. These people who are opposing Dato Ambiga Sreenivasan now, were strangely quite when Ethnic Indians of Malaysian were insulted in the Novel Interlok and the Novel was made as a compulsory text book for SPM students. These people has no guts, and are spineless to fight racist Perkasa and the President Ibrahim Ali, but attacking Ambiga Sreenivasan for no reason. What is their motive behind these acts? People know the answers.

Dato Ambiga, Former BAR Council President does not fight for any single race in Malaysia. She is fighting for a cause which affect each and every one of the Malaysians. She is heading a movement which is calling for Clean and Fair Electoral Democracy system. It is unwise to shrink our views and looking Ambiga as an Indian. Dato Ambiga is a Malaysian, and she should be addressed so and not to the ethnic group she belongs to. Dato Ambiga Sreenivasan had received "Most Courageous Woman Award" from the US State Secretary Hillary Clinton and US First Lady Mitchell Obama for her tireless and courageous works. She had made Malaysian women proud with the Award. She only can be credited for that. Malaysians regardless of their race supporting Bersih's cause are supporting Ambiga. We could see that clearly during the Bersih 2.0 rally. Few parties including PERKASA has been circulating newsletters attacking and threatening this brave lady named, Ambiga Sreenivasan. Despite all that, this lady is keep fighting for a Malaysian cause. She should be only praised by community for her works.

Amanat 9 July - 9 ஜூலை செய்தி

9 July 2011 - Satu hari yang bakal menjadi catatan dalam sejarah.

Perhimpunan Bersih yang menuntut sistem Pilihanraya Bersih di Malaysia akan diadakan. Kalau kita mengikut secara rapi segala perkembangan dalam isu Bersih ini, sejak sebulan yang lalu, kita dapat melihat bagaimana tertekanya Kerajaan untuk mengekang pergerakan Bersih ini. Dilihat cara kerajaan menangani isu ini, makin meningkatkan lagi kesangsian kebanyakkan orang terhadap Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya. Yang nyata, Kerajaan pimpinan Najib Razak tidak mahu perhimpunan ini diteruskan, kerana takut kebangkitan rakyat, yang inginkan Pilihanraya yang telus dan bersih.

Pada mulanya, Kerajaan tidak melibatkan diri secara terus dalam mengekang atau menakutkan orang ramai yang ingin menyertai perhimpunan ini. PERKASA digunakan untuk menakut-nakutkan peserta perhimpunan ini. Perkasa dikatakan ingin mengadakan perhimpunan pada hari yang sama untuk mendatangkan keadaan kucar-kacir. Selepas itu Pemuda UMNO pun ingin mengadakan perhimpunan pada hari yang sama.

Apabila, penganjur BERSIH tidak gentar dengan segala ancaman yang di "outsource" ini, Kerajaan mula menggunakan Polis untuk mengancam para penyokong Bersih. Baju Kuning diharamkan, yang memakai Baju kuning ditahan. Segala ancaman ini adalah untuk melunturkan semangat para peserta perhimpunan Bersih. Ada juga Polis menjumpa Parang dan Molotov Cocktail dan terus menuduh Pihak Bersih.

Apabila Duli Yang Maha Mulia Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, menitahkan supaya Demonstrasi di jalanraya dikaji balik, kerana mungkin datangkan keburukan walaupun "niatnya baik". Baginda tidak langusung menyebut BERSIH sebagai Organisasi HARAM!! Pihak BERSIH, yang telah diharamkan oleh Kerajaan meminta supaya dapat menghadap Tuanku, Tuanku berkenan untuk berjumpa mereka dan selepas itu pihak Bersih pun bersetuju untuk mengadakan Perhimpunan d Stadium. Selepas itu, kerajaan pula enggan memberikan Stadium Merdeka yang diminta oleh Bersih. Terkini, Najib telah meminta kumpulan silat yang dahulunya mengancam BERSIH untuk menjadi 3rd line of nation defence and protect the country! Ini serius.

Najib pula akan terbang ke London, dan tidak akan berada di Malaysia semasa Perhimpunan Bersih. Ini mendatangkan pelbagai kesangsian. Kemungkinan besar UMNO akan cuba untuk membuat sesuatu pada 7hb Julai ini, supaya "mengajar" pihak BERSIH yang ingin mengeluarkan mereka mengikut pilihanraya Bersih.

Kemungkinan besar, Gangster dan SB Polis akan digunakan untuk membuat kekacauan pada hari tersebut. Walaupun segala ini mungkin, namun saya tetap akan menyertai BERSIH, kerana ini adalah satu-satunya peluang untuk kita menyelamatkan negara kita daripada ketidakadilan dan kerakusan.

Biar darah ku tumpah di tanah ini, masih ku akan mempertahankan negaraku yang tercinta ini.

Mungkin saya tidak akan berada dengan anda selepas 9 July 2011. Ingin saya mencatatkan apa yang akan bakal ku cakap jika ada bersama anda pada hari tersebut.

"Masa depan anak-anak kita di negara inilah. Cukuplah kita berfikir untuk kita, sila fikirkan demi anak-anak anda. Kalau kerakusan BN berterusan, mungkin satu hari nanti negara yang bernama Malaysia ini akan terus hancur! Ajarlah Kuasa Fasis UMNO! Jangan sesekali menerima pengkhianat Bangsa (MCA-MIC)!! Undi untuk Perubahan, Selamatkan Malaysia!! Malaysia Tanahair kita, Harus kita mempertahankanya dari kerakusan UMNO-BN!!"

9 ஜூலை 2011 - மலேசிய வரலாற்றில் மிக முக்கியமான நாள். நேர்மையான தேர்தல் கோரி மலேசியர்கள், கோலாலம்பூரின் சுதந்திர சதுக்கத்தில் கூடப்போகின்றனர். கடந்த ஒரு மாதமாக இந்த பேரணியை தடுக்க எப்படியெல்லாம் அரசாங்கம் முயல்கிறது என்று நாம் கண்டோம். பெர்காசா, அம்னோ இளைஞர் பிரிவு என்று முதலில் மிரட்டிய அரசாங்கம், பிறகு போலிசாரை வைத்து பெர்சேவை ஒடுக்க முயன்றது. மஞ்சள் சட்டை போட்டால் கைது, மஞ்சள் சட்டைக்கு தடை என்று, இறுதியாக பெர்சே அமைப்பே சட்டவிரோத அமைப்பு என்று அறிவித்தது.

9 ஜூலை அன்று ஒரு கலவரம் உண்டாகலாம் என்ற தோற்றம் மிகத்தெளிவாக தெரிகிறது. கலவர பயத்தால் மலேசியர்களை ஒடுக்க நினைக்கிறது அம்னோ. இருப்பினும், நமது இந்த நாட்டிற்காக நாம் ஒன்றிணைவோம். வாழ்வதும், சாவதும் ஒரு முறைதான். போகும் உயிர் எப்பொழுதும் போகலாம். அது அர்த்தத்தோடு போக வேண்டும்.

எனது நாட்டிற்காக நான் செல்கின்றேன், எது நடப்பினும் நடக்கட்டும், எல்லாம் நாட்டிற்கே.

9 ஜூலைக்கு பிறகு, நான் உங்களோடு இல்லாமல் இருக்கலாம். இருந்தால் என்ன சொல்வேனோ, அதை இப்பொழுதே சொல்லிவிடுகிறேன்.

"நமது பிள்ளைகளின் எதிர்காலம் இந்த நாட்டில்தான், உங்களுக்காக யோசித்தது போதும்; அவர்களுக்காக யோசியுங்கள்; இனியும் அராஜகம் தொடர்ந்தால், இந்த நாடே நாசமாகலாம்!! பாசிச அம்னோவிற்கு பாடம் கற்பியுங்கள்! இனத்துரோகிகளை ஏற்றுக்கொளாதீர்கள்!! மாற்றத்திற்கு வாக்களியுங்கள், நாட்டை காப்பாற்றுங்கள்! மலேசியாவே நமது நாடு, இறுதிவரை இத்தாய்மண்ணை தற்காப்போம்!!"

Why MIC has no guts to face Racist PERKASA?

MIC has no guts to face Racist organizations such as PERKASA, which is threatening Nations unity, but dare to condemn the call for reforms.It was reported in Free Malaysia Today that Penang MIC Youths has lodged a Police report against Bersih 2.0 and the Bersih Chairperson Dato Ambiga.It is very obvious that, MIC is doing this to please their UMNO Bosses. Why Penang MIC Youth never had the guts and courage to lodge report against Ibrahim Ali's seditious statements that threats Nations unity? Why MIC Youths never had the guts to call for immediate withdrawal of Interlok novel which is insulting sentiments of Ethnic Indians and Ethnic Chinese of Malaysia?

MIC had never reflected Malaysian Indians feelings in past, and they will never reflects even in future. MIC is proud about being UMNO's sub-ordinants and reflect UMNO's views. MIC is against Bersih, because their bosses in UMNO are against it, that is the only reason why MIC Youths opposing Bersih! I don't think, the MIC Youths, especially those in Penang, does even understand what Bersih is stand for.

Bersih rally is not about race or religion, but it is about free and fair elections.Why is UMNO and BN parties like of MIC is afraid of, when we demand for free and fair elections?! If they can win the elections by the clean means, why they should worry?

I would advise Penang MIC Youth to involve in much more beneficial things, rather than resorting to this kind of low class antics to get cheap publicity. We would reiterate that Batu Kawan DAPSY and Penang DAPSY is very clear on its stand to support the call for reformed free and fair elections.
